Sí is an initiative by Gloria Jameson, a transvestite with long experience of the Irish scene.  Gloria is assisted by a review group of other transvestites, to try to ensure that Sí represents Irish transvestism in a way that is acceptable to the whole transvestite community.  If you are an Irish transvestite and would like to help in any way, please contact us for further details.  Even if you don’t want to get involved, but have issues with anything on this website, we would love to have your feedback.  Community unity is very important to us.

This is not the first manifestation of Sí.  Gloria was one of the founders of a previous incarnation of Sí which briefly flourished around the turn of the millennium, as a transgender society and an organiser of events. However, transitioned transgenders were drifting away from the rest of us as they escalated their fight for transition rights, and eventually the original Sí petered out.   Or at least disappeared into their underground palaces for a while.
